Excursions

Follow our tamariki as they explore our local community, try new experiences, and learn beyond the centre.

Mitre 10

Our local community excursions have been such a hit with our preschoolers, with a recent trip to Mitre 10 sparking plenty of curiosity and excitement! During their visit, the children had the opportunity to gather supplies for their next hands-on learning adventure as they step into the world of gardening.

As our little gardeners begin their growing journey, they will discover how plants grow, learn to care for living things, and develop a deeper connection with nature and the environment around them. This trip was a wonderful reminder that learning extends far beyond our centre walls, showing how rich community experiences inspire children to explore, ask questions, and discover something new.

Playball

Our preschoolers recently brought vibrant energy and big smiles to an extra-special Playball Active session, topped off by an exciting visit from everyone's favourite friend, Sporty! The children were absolutely over the moon as they shared high-fives, big hugs, and non-stop giggles while jumping into energetic games on the field.

Beyond the fun and memorable moments, these active sessions give our super athletes the chance to build confidence, teamwork, and fundamental motor skills in a supportive, play-based environment. Safe to say Sporty was a huge hit, leaving our little learners with wonderful memories and a lasting love for staying active!

Haodee

Our toddlers recently achieved an exciting milestone by heading out on their very first official excursion: a cosy morning walk down to Haodee Coffee Roasters! Our little explorers were absolute stars, practising safe walking skills and staying together as a group along the way.

Once settled at the cafe, the children enjoyed warm fluffies and filled the space with music and big smiles by singing their favourite songs together. Local outings like this offer such rich learning opportunities, helping toddlers build social confidence, practise out-and-about skills, and feel a genuine connection with our welcoming neighbourhood community.
